Using an attachment-focused, trauma-informed lens, the social worker will use play, art, interactive games, and discussion to collaboratively address current mental health struggles and child/family strengths. Depending on the therapy goals that are co-created, parents/caregivers will be asked to take an active role in the therapy process by either supporting their child during sessions and/or at home between sessions.
Parenting is beautiful and challenging! It brings to light every weakness and trigger point that parents have developed over the course of their lives. ALL parents are doing the best they can with what they’ve been given. Having a supportive space to reflect about the parenting journey is key to growing into the parent you want your child to have. Through reflective discussion, we will use attachment-based, trauma-informed parent consultations to help you better understand your child's emotional needs.
Why Choose this Program?

The Circle of Security Parenting™ program is based on decades of attachment research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.
