Dr. Tara graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She went on to complete four years of extensive study at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she graduated cum laude and with clinic honours in 2015. Dr. Tara also holds certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University.

Dr. Tara is a family chiropractor with a passion for pre- and post-natal as well as pediatric care. Her approach is evidence-informed, patient-centered and nervous system focused. She employs a variety of techniques including spinal, extremity and cranial adjustments and mobilizations, myofascial release therapy, kinesiotaping, vibration therapy, and exercises to help moms and babies feel their best. Dr. Tara has nearly a decade of experience in practice and has done additional training in Webster Technique, advanced perinatal chiropractic techniques, postnatal rehabilitation, PIPS (pediatric intra-oral palate specific) technique, tongue ties, infant cranial & spinal adjusting, retained primitive reflexes, pediatric developmental milestones and more.

Dr. Tara’s interests outside of clinic include fitness and nutrition, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and three kitties.
